Day 50: We Are Kindness

“You are loved. You are wonderfully made. You are beautiful. You have purpose. You are a masterpiece. God has a great plan for you.” – Unknown

Do you feel loved? Do you believe that you are wonderfully and perfectly made the way that you are in this very moment? Do you believe that you are beautiful inside and out, just as you are? Do you believe that you have a purpose in this world and on this planet? Do you believe that you are a masterpiece, made perfectly and with great care? Do you believe that there is a plan for you, greater than you may currently think or believe?

Happy New Year! The above quote is my daily mantra for 2016. A friend sent it to me one day when I was feeling down and discouraged. Since that day, I have read it everyday and it has become a sort of daily mantra, especially when I feel overwhelmed, stressed or discouraged in any way. I have also printed it out and framed it for each of my two children to read when they need it.

Kindness to Self:

To believe that you are loved, wonderfully and perfectly made, that you are a beautiful masterpiece and that you have great purpose and a plan made just for you is the ultimate form of kindness. It is true self-love.

Kindness to Others:

To be able to see and give all of those same things to your children, family, loved ones and friends is pure loving kindness.

Kindness to Strangers:

To believe that everyone is loved, wonderfully made, beautiful, has great purpose, and is a masterpiece; is living and promoting kindness to all.

Kindness to Our Planet:

To treat the planet as if you love it, as if you know it is wonderfully and perfectly made, that it is beautiful, has great purpose, is a masterpiece made for all of humankind is to live with a great understanding of responsibility and care.

Let’s find, create and live everyday with the belief that we are in fact loved, that we are wonderfully made, that we are beautiful, that we are a masterpiece, that we all have great purpose and a specifically awesome plan. Let’s be Kindness!
