Day 37: Kindness Does Not Judge
“If I stop judging other people, I free myself from being judged, and I can dance.” – Patti Digh
To judge and to be judged. Why do we torture ourselves? No one likes to be judged, it immediately makes you feel either better than or less than. Sure it might feel good when we feel better than, but what about the rest of the time, when we feel less than. And is that how we want to be, a false sense of self? No one is really better than or worse than anyone else. We all have a back story and a journey and often times the people that look the most together are the ones struggling the most. Take the time to reach out and be open and maybe you will find yourself dancing instead of sitting in the corner and miserably comparing yourself and judging others.
1, 2, 3 & 4 Kindness to Self, Others, Strangers & Our Planet:
Read the following quote and apply it to yourself, to your loved ones, to the people you meet and to our beautiful home.
“You are loved. You are wonderfully made. You are beautiful. You have purpose. You are a masterpiece. God has a great plan for you.” – Unknown
If we can all truly believe this, then judging would become impossible because we would all realize that we are uniquely made to each be a masterpiece.
